The Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Tawakkol Karman, said that Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has been accused of running the Omar al-Bashir militia to suppress, assault, kill and torture Sudanese demonstrators.

"This criminal (Ali Osman Taha) commits crimes against humanity and must be prosecuted by international and local justice," Karman said in her official account on Twitter. "These are crimes that do not have the statute of limitations and certainly will not pass without unpunished.
