Karman: Declaration of “Civil Transitional Authority” in Sudan does not need Military Council approval
The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman said that the declaration of the institutions of the transitional authority in Sudan is fine with the authorization of millions of Sudanese protesters outside the General Command and it does not need an approval or authorization from the military council.
"Millions of Sudanese are now in the sit-in outside the General Command waiting for the declaration of the institutions of the Transitional Authority," Karman said on Twitter. "This declaration will be fine if it is authorized by these millions and it does not need an approval or permit from the military council. It gets its legitimacy from the legitimacy of all revolutionaries. The ball is in the court of the forces of freedom and change.”
Karman pointed out that the former regime is still governing but through the worst generals who are allied with the Arab capitals that counter revolutions.
Karman said: The military council is the strong corner of al-Bashir regime, so unless you declare the institutions of the civil transitional authority based on the legitimacy of the revolutionaries, be prepared to go to prisons and cemeteries and to face more oppressive era.
