Karman condemns death sentence issued by Houthi militia against 30 opposition citizens and political activist
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has condemned the death sentence issued by the Houthi militia today against 30 opposition citizens and a political activist, affirming her solidarity with the convicts.
Tawakkol Karman said on her official page on "Facebook": The Houthi fascist group sentenced 30 citizens and a political activist to death, their only real charge that they did not praise the fascist group.
Among those sentenced to death were academics, professors and intellectuals, including detainees who had been jailed for years, they are underage, Karman said.
Karman considered the ruling, just a small sample of the magnitude of the violation suffered by our people, who suffer from the hateful occupation at the same time.
Karman said: An internal occupation, by the Houthi fascist militia, and another external, by the Emirati-Saudi evil coalition. I condemn this grave violation and I announce my sincere solidarity with the victims.
