In an interview with "Araby 21" … Karman: Saudi Arabia is snake head in Yemen and the coup of Aden was a fatal blow to legitimacy
Tawakkol Karman, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, said that "Saudi Arabia is the head of snake in destroying Yemen, and the UAE is only one of its dirty tools to break up the unity of the country,"
calling on President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to "exempt Saudi Arabia and the UAE from intervening in Yemen, and demanding that they stop war, if he still has the word or has the courage to make the right decision."
In an exclusive interview with Araby 21, Karman said that the Aden coup plunged the country into another phase of chaos, and it was a fatal blow to Yemeni legitimacy and fuel regional conflicts between Yemenis, in the interests of foreign countries which are angered by Yemen's vision of a unified or powerful state.
Karman stressed that “Saudi Arabia is involved in the coup plot of Aden; it managed the details and was in an agreement and full harmony with the UAE in Yemen; the rulers of Al Saud have an old dream of dismantling Yemen, and believe that the current situation in Yemen represents a golden opportunity to achieve this dream.''
It launched a sharp attack on President Hadi, saying: "His position is weak and irresponsible. Four years ago, the man is not doing anything of value, and he and his government and his deputy has become completely dependent on Saudi Arabia. They are under house arrest in Riyadh. With this weakness and helplessness, they are committing betrayal against their supreme interest."
