Tawakkol Karman along with several dignitaries attends Khashoggi's memorial service in front of Saudi consulate in Istanbul

the human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laurate Tawakkol Karman has attended an unveiling memorial commemorating the killed Jamal Khashoggi in front of the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
Several journalists, activists, politicians and loved ones have participated in the annual memorial service in the Turkish city of Istanbul to commemorate the assassination of Khashoggi.
Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi disappeared on October 2, 2018, at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in mysterious circumstances.
But later it turned out that he was executed inside his country’s consulate when listening devices planted by the Turkish intelligence inside the building captured the 'kill squad' that planning the murder in the days before and carrying it out.
