Nobel laureate congratulates on release five young detainees
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has congratulated on the release of the members of the peaceful youth revolution Ibrahim al-Hammadi and his fellow inmates who were prisoned unfairly on charges of “palace bomb”.
The Houthi militia released al-Hammadi and four other comrades: Shuaib Mohammed Saleh al-Baajari, Abdullah Saad Abdullah, Ghaleb Ali Ghaleb al-Eizari and Mohammed Ahmed Ali Ali Omar.
They were arrested by the Saleh regime in 2011 and charged with the bombing of the presidential palace, where the former president was injured by a bomb planted in a mosque within the palace.
The youth of the revolution Ibrahim Al-Hammadi and his comrades imprisoned unjustly eight years ago are free. Thanks to God!” Mrs. Karman said in a statement on her official Facebook page.
