By returning to Aden alone, Yemeni PM becomes in practice secretary of Saudi ambassador, Tawakkol Karman says
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman stated that with the head of the internationally-recognized government, Maeen Abdulmalik,
returning to Yemen’s interim capital of Aden without being accompanied by any of his ministers, he has proved in practice that he is only a secretary of the Saudi ambassador to Yemen.
In a statement published today on her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman pointed out that with the return of Yemen’s PM to Aden with the company of none of his Saudi-UAE-disliked ministers, it has turned out that he is no more than a special secretary of the Saudi ambassador to Yemen.
Mrs. Karman indicated that nothing of the Riyadh-sponsored agreement recently signed by the Yemeni government and the UAE-backed separatist group will be implemented.
She has reiterated her conviction that the main cause of Yemen’s problem lies in Riyadh, stressing that the latter seeks to implement its hidden agenda aimed to destroy Yemen.
The Nobel laureate reaffirmed that Yemenis have no other choice but to put an end to Saudi hegemony and guardianship over Yemen, pointing out the national duty obliges Yemenis to expel Saudi Arabia from their country.
