The Moroccan journalist Omar A1-Radi was convicted of several six-year prison sentences by the Court of Appeal in Casablanca in March 2022.

Considering the prosecution of Radi to be politically motivated, Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) is once again requesting that Radi and the other detainees be released immediately.

The WJWC further criticizes the Moroccan authorities' ongoing use of the criminal justice system to prosecute journalists in matters involving publishing.
