Tawakkol Karman Foundation opens applications for partial SAT scholarship to help students secure university scholarships
Tawakkol Karman Foundation has announced the launch of a partial scholarship program aimed at helping students prepare for the SAT exam, a crucial step for those seeking international university scholarships.
Part of the foundation’s "Leaders for Future" initiative, the program is now open for applications, with a deadline set for March 2, 2025.
This scholarship covers 53% of the cost of an SAT preparation course, which includes comprehensive English and Math training to ensure students are fully equipped for the exam. It also provides funding for a specialized workshop that introduces students to the fundamentals of applying for university scholarships, helping them navigate the process effectively. In addition, the scholarship covers SAT exam fees, provided that students achieve a minimum score of 1370 out of 1600 and submit their official test results.
Beyond academic preparation, selected students will have access to exclusive lectures and activities under the "Leaders for Future" program. These sessions are designed to develop leadership skills and prepare young people for future academic and professional opportunities.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 16 years old and demonstrate an Upper Intermediate level of English proficiency. They also need to confirm the availability of an SAT test center in their country through the official College Board website. A personal email address and phone number are required, and if the applicant is under 18, they must provide a parent or guardian’s contact information.
The program, conducted fully online, is designed for high school students and recent graduates who are determined to secure international university scholarships. The initiative is being implemented in partnership with the English Castle Institute, a strategic partner specializing in SAT preparation.
Over the course of three months, participants will receive intensive training in Math and English to improve their test-taking skills. They will also take part in a comprehensive workshop that covers different types of university scholarships, practical strategies for finding opportunities, and step-by-step guidance on the application process.
