Tawakkol Karman Foundation has supported a humanitarian initiative to fund kidney transplant surgeries at the Heart and Kidney Transplant Center in Taiz, southwest Yemen.

This initiative will cover the full costs for approximately 20 patients suffering from kidney failure who cannot afford the transplant operations.

The foundation announced that its support for kidney transplants will not be confined to Taiz but will be extended to all individuals in need throughout Yemen.

Previously, Tawakkol Karman Foundation has made numerous contributions to the health sector, including financial support for patients battling kidney failure, cancer, and leprosy.
