On February 6, 2023, Tawakkol Karman Foundation announced its contribution of one million Turkish liras for those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

This contribution came in line with the devastating earthquake that struck the regions of southern Turkey and northern Syria, which led to the death and injury of thousands of citizens in both countries and caused severe damage.

TKF also expresses its solidarity with Turkey and Syria, extends its sincere condolences to the victims' families, and wishes quick recovery for the injured.

The foundation calls on the international community in general and organizations, in particular, to come forward to help rescue the missing and shelter those who have lost their homes.
