Based on Cooperation Agreement between Tawakkol Karman Foundation (TKF) and Food Agricultural Organization (FAO).

Over implementation project of the Corporation on Social Cohesion Project in the Central Republic of Africa. Since this non-coastal poor country is encountering a civil war which broke out in the year 2014 and further renewed in 2016.

The outcome of the civil conflicts created a terrible humanitarian crisis; destruction of basic infrastructures, massive displacements, furthermore, the armed men controlled 70% of the country's territory.

Well, the objective of the project primarily to reinforce reconciliation process of communities through training youth leaders basically tasked to convey the message of co-existence and peace.

In addition to manage meetings between the sector representatives of the communities.

This project is considered a symbolic for the communities following inhuman conflicts and this is a true opportunity to test a peaceful strategy which could be engaged in a other similar conflicts. 

In the context of this project, Tawakkol Karman Foundation Members have completed accordingly their official mission in the Republic of Central Africa from 6th- 9th March 2019. 

During which they also met with FAO Country Representative and further reviewed the necessary requirements with leaders and its components in order to form a syllabus of the project activities.
