30 students from Istanbul University on Friday 5th of July, 2019 visited Tawakkol Karman Foundation to learn about the activities and programs of the foundation whether general or specific to Yemen.

The Executive Director of Tawakkol Karman Foundation, Mrs. Misk Al Junaid, welcomed the students of Istanbul University who are from different majors. The visit came within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed earlier between the Foundation and the University.

Al-Junaid provided an overview and summary of the programs and activities of Tawakkol Karman Foundation and the goals for which it was established.

Al-Junaid said that the Foundation focuses its efforts on spreading peace, combating ignorance and all forms of racism, establishing good human values, and renouncing violence and poverty.

The students, on their part, expressed their great pleasure for visiting the Tawakkol Karman Foundation and learning about its programs and activities.

It is worth mentioning that TKF is a nonprofit foundation that works in all areas of development and supports ideas, policies, activities and projects that contribute to guiding communities towards democracy and development.
