Human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has voiced strong support for the Iranian people in their ongoing struggle for freedom, praising their determination to dismantle the authoritarian theocratic regime and expressing deep admiration for their steadfastness in the face of repression.

In a post on her official Facebook page, Karman expressed profound respect for the great Iranian people courageously fighting for freedom, conveying her pride in them and offering her blessings. She further praised the Iranian people as they move forward in their efforts to bring down what she described as a failed and authoritarian theocratic mullah regime

Karman’s remarks come amid widespread protests across Iran, as growing international calls urge the authorities to respect the rights of demonstrators and bring an end to systematic repression.
