Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has voiced her support for a decision by President Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Yemeni Armed Forces, to terminate the United Arab Emirates’ presence in Yemen.

In a post shared  on her official Facebook page, Karman said she stands with President Al-Alimi’s decision to expel and end the UAE’s presence in the country, affirming her full backing of the move.
