Nobel Laureate Blames Saudi Arabia for Yemen’s Fragmentation
Human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has squarely blamed Saudi Arabia for the fragmentation of Yemen, saying the kingdom bears primary responsibility as the leader of the military coalition and the party that brought the United Arab Emirates into the conflict.
In a post on her official Facebook page, Karman stated that “no one is responsible for Yemen’s fragmentation except Saudi Arabia,” noting that Riyadh led the coalition and made the decision to include the UAE.
