Karman Condemns Israeli Interception of Gaza-Bound Flotilla as a “Full-Fledged Crime”
Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has condemned Israel’s interception of the Gaza-bound “Freedom Flotilla,” describing it as a full-fledged crime and a clear violation of international law.
In a statement posted on her official Facebook page, Karman said that intercepting civilian ships carrying humanitarian aid in international waters is a blatant breach of international law and a disgrace to a world that remains silent in the face of such crimes.
She emphasized that this incident will not silence voices of solidarity with Gaza, but will instead strengthen the determination of free people around the world to confront the occupation and expose its ongoing violations against the Palestinian people.
