Human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has strongly criticized the establishment of a parallel government in Sudan, calling it a sign of failure and the collapse of efforts to permanently overthrow the state.
In a post shared on her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman stated that the move by militias and what she described as "traitors to the Sudanese state and people," with the support of regional allies, reflects not only their defeat but also their inability to sustain their political project.
Reaffirming her support for Sudan’s sovereignty, Karman concluded her statement with a call for national unity, declaring, "Long live Sudan, free, independent, and sovereign over its decision and land."
