Nobel laureate Tawakkol Karman praises Yemeni students' outstanding exam results
Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has publicly lauded the remarkable achievements of two Yemeni students in Qatar's high school exams.
Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Sabei, from the Al-Misrakh Directorate in Taiz Governorate, topped the technical track of the general secondary exams with an impressive score of 99.81%.
Meanwhile, Shatha Khalid Suleiman Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ahdal, from the Al-Mara'wa Directorate in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, secured the third position in the scientific section with a flawless score of 100%.
Karman expressed her admiration and pride on her official Facebook page, extending heartfelt congratulations to both students.
"Congratulations to the Yemeni student Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Al-Sabai, hailing from the Directorate of Al-Misrakh in Taiz Governorate, for achieving first place in the General Secondary Education Certificate in Qatar. Congratulations, I am immensely proud of you," she wrote.
She also congratulated Shatha Khalid Suleiman Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ahdal for her outstanding performance. "I also extend my congratulations to student Shatha Khalid Suleiman Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ahdal, who hails from the Directorate of Al-Muraw'a in the Hadhramaut Governorate, for achieving first place in the scientific section of the General Secondary Education Certificate in Qatar. Congratulations, you are a source of pride and appreciation for all of us."
