Calling for an ICC trial of Netanyahu's government, Tawakkol Karman denounces Jabalia slaughter
Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has strongly denounced the slaughter carried out by the Israeli occupation in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, which left many people injured and with a huge loss of life.
Expressing her views on her official Facebook page, Karman denounced the massacre as yet another manifestation of genocidal acts and ethnic cleansing carried out by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians.
Karman has called for the International Criminal Court to bring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to trial as war criminals responsible for inhumane massacres against humanity.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza, the recent massacre in Jabalia Camp claimed the lives of 400 individuals, predominantly women and children, and resulted in the complete destruction of the residential neighborhood known as "Block 6."
