Nobel Laureate to speak at international colloquium in Mexico
Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has been invited to be a keynote speaker at "First International Colloquium: Who Takes Charge of the Future?", organized by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
The event will take place from April 24 to 28, 2023, in Mexico. As a keynote speaker at the colloquium, Tawakkol Karman will share her insights and experiences on the future of society and the challenges facing political renewal processes.
Given her expertise in promoting democratic participation and human rights in the face of political and social challenges, her participation is highly anticipated.
The First International Colloquium aims to explore the complex challenges facing society as it looks towards the future, including issues such as economic and environmental crises, health systems, migration, and the erosion of democracy.
The event seeks to find answers to these challenges and promote international spaces for reflection to jointly develop viable and sustainable projects towards a better future.
