The entry of the Ukrainian army into the city of Kherson is one of the historic victories over fascism and Nazism, said the Nobel Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman.

On her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman wrote: “The Ukrainian army has entered the city of Kherson. This is one of the historic victories over fascism and Nazism.”

Today, Friday, nine months after the Russian army seized the capital of the southern Kherson region, the Ukrainian army announced it regained upon the Russian Defense Ministry's announcement of troop withdrawal from the city.
