The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, said that the so-called Yemeni presidential leadership council is a dark stain on the history of Yemenis and has no authority over any Yemeni.
In a statement on her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman indicated that the so-called leadership council lacks legitimacy because it was created against the will of the Yemenis.
The council was forcibly imposed one night by the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, on those pushed to consultations in Riyadh, Karman stated.
She also stressed that the council does not represent any sovereigny of Yemen, or express its independence, adding that it lacks power on the ground, does not reflect citizens' interests, and does not provide any serves to them.
It is merely a slavery council, and will remain a dark stain and shame on the history of Yemenis.
