Tawakkol Karman before students in Ghana: history’s great figures inspire me in my struggle
After her participation in the PeaceJam Ghana Youth Conference hosted by the University of Ghana and organized by the WACPF, the Ghana Chapter of PeaceJam Foundation, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman left today (Sunday) Ghana.
Mrs. Karman had given a lecture to distinguished high school students at the University of Ghana, noting that the greats of history like Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, as well as prophets Muhammad, Moses and Jesus, are the ones who have inspired her in her struggle.
These figures are the greatest inspirations you should read about and make your role models, she added, addressing the students.
