The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has saluted the protests in Tunisia against the President Kais Saied and his recent measures, including the dismissal of the government and the freezing of parliament, considering them to be a coup.

“Great salute to Tunisia and to its protests against the coup by the robot-like president”, wrote Tawakkol Karman on her official Facebook page.
