Tawakkol Karman to RT: Saudi Arabia and UAE must pay Yemen billions as compensation
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman stated that Saudi Arabia and the UAE must pay billions to Yemen as compensation for the damage they have caused there.
In an interview with the English-speaking RT-TV, Tawakkol Karman said that Saudi Arabia and the UAE will have to give Yemen billions, or even trillions, in return for the widespread devastation resulting from their heinous war on the country.
Besides the Saudi-Emirati coalition, Mrs. Karman added, Iran is also responsible for the systematic destruction of Yemen, noting that Yemen is facing an ugly proxy war.
The three countries, as Karman said, do not want Yemen to be a democratic state or its great peaceful revolution to win.
Karman stressed the need for Britain to send a strong message to Mohammed bin Salman and Mohammed bin Zayed to stop their hegemony and guardianship over Yemen.
"Britain must stop arms sales to Saudi Arabia if it is to help Yemen," said Tawakkol Karman.
Regarding the publication of the US National Intelligence Report on the killing of the Saudi journalist, she considered it an important step towards justice because it proves that Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman was the mastermind of the murder and dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi..
In this context, Mrs. Karman indicated that the administration of US President Joe Biden, especially after the report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, is supposed to take action against the Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman.
“We are waiting for the Biden administration to do something to stop the Saudi killing policy against opponents, both at home and abroad”, she continued, noting that Saudi Arabia has a long track record of killing and crackdown on dissenting voices.
