The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman is going to deliver a keynote lecture today (Sunday) at a global conference organized by the Oxford Forum for International Development.
In her upcoming lecture during the conference under the theme "Remapping Change: Where Do We Go From Here", Tawakkol Karman will talk about the Arab Spring uprisings on the 10th anniversary.
This year’s two-day event will shed light on three main sub-topics: Legacies of Power: Examining Attitudes and Practices, Shifting Landscapes: Cooperation and Conflict in the Present Day, and Development Disrupted: Finding opportunity in crisis.
The Oxford Forum for International Development is among the largest student-led development conferences in Europe, and serves as a facilitator for collaboration between all players in International Development.
