The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has urged US President Joe Biden and his new envoy to Yemen to hold those who committed war crimes accountable for their actions.

Under the title “Yemenis welcome Biden move to halt coalition support, mistrust persists”, Reuters pointed out to Mrs. Karman’s statement, in which she called for President Biden and his envoy to Yemen “to prioritize putting Yemenis at the center of any negotiation, and holding those who committed war crimes accountable for their actions.”
