Nobel Laureate condoles death of veteran stateman Yahya Mosleh
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has extended her condolences to the family and loved ones of the major general Yahya Mosleh Mahdi al-Raimi.
“May Allah have mercy on Major General Yahya Musleh, one of the heroes of the Seventy Days War, and one of the nation's loyal men,” wrote Mrs. Karman on social media, pointing out that the deceased passed away “after a life full of sincere struggle for the defense of the revolution and the republic.”
She noted that Musleh remained, throughout his life, sticking to his principles, and like all other true heroes of September 26 Revolution, had never compromised his belief in the republic and justice.
