Mrs. Karman: Failure to implement Riyadh agreement’s military and security side accords with Saudi wish
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman stated that not even a single word of the Riyadh Agreement’s military and security side, signed between the internationally recognized legitimate government of Yemen and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, has been implemented, pointing out that this is what Saudi Arabia wishes.
In a post on Facebook, Tawakkol Karman indicated that the transitional council had threatened to prevent the implementation of the president's decisions on the ground, considering that such flagrant threat means only that the military and security part of Riyadh Agreement will never be implemented, noting that this is what Riyadh actually wishes.
She has made a harsh criticism of the Yemeni government and accused it of being a puppet of the Saudi ambassador.
Karman emphasized that Saudi Arabia has one single, crystal clear agenda, which is to destroy and fragment Yemen, and that there is no way to salvation only through kicking Saudi Arabia out of Yemen.
