The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has approved the accession to the high-Level advisory group of experts on the Peace Treaty Initiative.

The Peace Treaty Initiative's Advisory Group of Experts includes a mix of prominent global leaders, negotiators, jurists and scholars.

The group is tasked with advising on the initiative’s substantive and strategic major dimensions, and all group members act in their personal capacity.

It is worth noting here that the magazine "Time" ranked Tawakkol Karman among the 100 most influential women who defined the last century. She has been named among the Facebook Oversight Board, and is also a member of the Nobel Women Initiative.
