The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, expressed hope that this year’s Nobel Peace Prize will go to the Saudi activist Loujain Al-Hathloul and her companions detained in Saudi prisons.
“I hope that the Nobel Peace Prize will go this year to Lujain Al-Hathloul and her companions in the prisons of Mohammed bin Salman’, wrote Tawakkol Karman on social media.
Karman considered that the prize would be a protection for them and a genuine support for the Saudi women's struggle for freedom.
