The Nobel Women Initiative has declared itself on the side of the anti-racism and anti-black protests in the United States of America and around the world.
The initiative - which includes a number of Nobel Peace Prize winners, including Tawakkol Karman - urged the US authorities to uphold the universal right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, indicating that martial law has no place in democracy.
In a statement issued by the initiative, the initiative affirmed that there will be no peace and security in the world until there is peace and security for every black person.
The statement said black lives matter today and every day.
The initiative called for justice for Bruna Taylor and George Floyd, and every black character who lost life due to racism in the United States.
