The human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has launched a scathing attack on Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Sisi, expecting his early departure from office.
In a post published on Twitter early today, Karman said addressing Sisi, “You are a fascist dictator who has killed Egyptians’ dreams, you will leave, and maybe soon”.
The founding president of the human rights defender “Women Journalists Without Chains” stressed that the future of Egypt depends on justice as there are no stability and peace without justice.
Egypt’s Abdel Fattah Sisi, was elected president in 2014 after leading a military coup against the Muslim Brotherhood government in July 2013.
He has been listed on the list of press freedom predators by Reporters Without Borders (RSF), which has recently published a portrait gallery of 35 presidents, politicians, religious leaders, militias and criminal organizations that censor, imprison, torture or murder journalists
