The Iran-affiliated Houthi militia in Yemen is a racial and fascist group that is worse and more savage than the Lebanese Hezbollah, said the human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman.
In a statement posted today on social media, Karman wrote, “The Lebanese Hezbollah is very bad, but the fascist and racial Houthi group is even worse and barbarous."
To illustrate the fascist group’s ethnocentrism, based on attitudes towards the others, Karman published a picture showing a citizen’s most recent house blown up yesterday by the militiamen in Dhamar province’s Utmah District where armed clashes have recently erupted between pro-government popular resistance and the Iran-backed militias.
It is worth mentioning that the Houthi militia has routinely blown up houses of opponents. According to statistics reported by human rights organizations, the number of blown-up homes has exceeded 420 houses, and this is the minimum number required to put the group on the list of terrorism, as organizations confirmed.
