Nobel Peace Laureate’s brother forcibly disappeared
Mohammad Karman, the brother of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman, along with two of his friends have been forcibly disappeared in Yemen’s rebel-held capital Sana’a.
Tawakkol Karman, in a statement on her Facebook account, stated her brother and his two friends Omar Yaseen Abdul Aziz and Abdulrahman Kahla are being held captive at Sana’a-based National Security controlled by by the Iran-affiliated Houthi militia and forces loyal to ousted president Ali Saleh.
She stressed that they have been forcibly disappeared for a month in retaliation for her political stance against the coup led by “the fascist alliance of the coup”.
