Nobel peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has launched a scathing attack against the former Yemeni president Ali Saleh, describing him as the source of evil. 

In a statement on social media, Mrs. Karman has stated that the the deposed Ali Saleh was, and will remain, the root of scourge and the snakehead in Yemen. 

“The others are only secondary opponents," Karman added, clearly referring to Saleh’s Iran-backed ally, the Houthi militia, in fight against Saudi-led military coalition.
