The human rights advocate and Nobel Peace winner Tawakkol Karman has described talking about a withdrawal of UAE forces from ports and airports in Aden and Hadhramaut as a lie, stressing that ending the UAE presence in the country has become a national necessity.

Tawakkol Karman, in a statement on social media, stated that the UAE forces are still controlling the airports and ports in both Yemen’s southern provinces, noting that all attempts by the legitimate government to enter the two cities are prevented by those troops. 

She pointed out that talking about withdrawals from these areas is no more than a false rumor created by some in order to fool the others.

Mrs. Karman stressed that ending the military presence of the UAE has become an imperative national necessity, calling on all Yemenis to reject this illegal presence in parts of the country.
