The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has mocked remarks by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir who was quoted as saying that his country leading a military intervention in Yemen has provided more than $ 8 billion as humanitarian aid to Yemen.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir had said, in a speech delivered yesterday at the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, that his country has already provided more than $ 8 billion, including $ 67 million to fight cholera, as humanitarian aid to Yemen through the King Salman Relief and International Organizations Center.
