Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has launched a scathing attack on the Saudi-led Arab coalition, describing it as an occupying alliance.
The coalition is no less bad than the Houthi militia and ousted president’s forces in Yemen, wrote Karman on social media.
She noted that the military coalition fighting in Yemen, besides committing many violations and war crimes, has violated the UN-Security Council resolution on Yemen and broken agreements reached during the Yemeni national dialogue conference.
Mrs. Karman also pointed out to the latest statement by the Arab coalition, which welcomed a peaceful solution in Yemen in accordance with the outcomes of the national dialogue and Security Council resolution 2216.
Addressing the member states of the military coalition, the human rights activist concluded by saying: “A lie has no legs.”
