Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman met today with Iceland's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Godhlaugur Thor Thordharson, on the sidelines of her participation in an international conference on global threats and challenges,

organized today Höfði Reykjavik Peace Centre (HOFDI) at the University of Iceland. 

According to a statement shared on Twitter by Iceland’s Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Thordarson discussed the situation in Yemen with the human rights activist.
