Tawakkol Karman warns against “recycling” aides and relatives of killed Saleh
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is working to bring back relatives and aides of Yemen’s killed ex-president Ali Abdullah Saleh, said the Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman, describing them as criminals who should be brought to justice.
In a statement published on Twitter, Karman reaffirmed that the late, ousted president Saleh was the head of a snake and the source of evils, and reaped what he sowed, urging that punishment should be inflicted on all those have committed crimes against Yemenis.
She indicated that if they are not identified as fugitives from justice, the UAE “will recycle the relatives and remnants of Saleh’s ex-regime to rule Yemen again”.
She also predicted that the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, which killed the ousted president Saleh last month, and keeps killing Yemenis and destroying their life, will meet its inevitable end.
