Tawakkol Karman: UAE will do its best to expel Yemen’s president and government from Aden
The Nobel Peace laureate and activist Tawakkol Karman has predicted that the UAE would do all it could to expel Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his government members who finally returned to the interim capital of Aden after nearly a year of alleged house arrest in Riyadh.
In a statement posted on social media, Mrs. Karman indicated that the UAE allowed the representatives of Yemeni government to return to their interim capital only for one purpose: legitimizing Hodeida’s UAE-led military operation.
She reiterated her warning to Yemenis about the UAE's deception and malice and called for an end to the UAE tampering in the war-torn country.
She also pointed out that President Hadi has no choice but to depend on his people in the face of foreign conspiracies.
