Tawakkol Karman condemns detention of Sana’a University female students by Houthis
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman condemned the attack by Houthis militia on female students at Sana’a University and the detention of many female students, describing that as barbaric.
"I condemn the barbaric assault by the Houthi fascist militia on Sana’a University female students who peacefully demonstrated on Saturday and many of them were arrested," Karman said in her official account on Twitter.
Karman praised the struggle of Yemeni female students for freedom, calling for solidarity with female students detained in the prisons of the Houthi militia.
It is noteworthy that militias of the Houthi coup kidnapped dozens of female students at the University of Sana’a because of their participation in a protest against the economic situation and the collapse of the Yemeni currency against foreign currencies.
