Karman: The Sudanese revolution ended dreams of al-Bashir in new round of presidency
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman confirmed that the Sudanese revolution ended the dreams of Omar al-Bashir in the presidency of Sudan for a new round.
"In practice, the Sudanese revolution overthrew al-Bashir and ended all his dreams of becoming president of Sudan in a new round," Karman said on her official Facebook page.
Karman added: "The regime will continue to fall and will do."
For more than a month, Sudan has been witnessing demonstrations demanding the departure of al-Bashir.
