The human rights activist and Nobel Peace laureate Tawakkol Karman has paid tribute to women on the International Women's Day, observed on March 8 each year. 

Peace upon women on the International Women’s day as they continue to prove that they are more fitting, more capable and purer to lead nations,” wrote Tawakkol Karman on Twitter.
