The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman commended the US Congress decision to approve a final decision to halt US military support to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in their war in Yemen.

"I salute the decision of the US Congress, which on Thursday voted with majority 247-176 to approve the final decision to stop US military support to Saudi Arabia and the UAE in their war in Yemen," Karman said on her official Facebook page.
