Karman condemns al-Bashir militia attack on peaceful protest with live bullets
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman condemned the attack by militia of Sudanese dictator Omar al-Bashir on peaceful protesters in front of the General Command with live bullets.
"This dictator and his fascist militias do not know that every bullet they fire at protesters speeds up his end and the overthrow of his regime. Every time a peaceful martyr falls for freedom, his throne and regime collapse," Karman said on her official Facebook page.
Karman explained that "a peaceful struggle with sacrifices" is the map of the peaceful struggle and a magic method for overthrowing despotic regimes.
Karman added: "Glory to the protesters in front of the General Command in Khartoum and freedom for all strugglers throughout the great Sudan.”
"With your steadfastness today, you came close to the moment of the fall of the tyrant. He is living his last hours, and victory comes in an hour-long patience,” she said.
