Karman: Hadi is not just a prisoner in Riyadh but a traitor to the supreme interest of the country
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman said that President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi is not only a detainee under house arrest in Riyadh, but also a traitor to the higher interests of the homeland.
Karman stressed in her official page on "Facebook" that “if Hadi is under house arrest in Saudi Arabia he loses legitimacy, all his words and actions do not represent the Republic of Yemen and are meaningless and do not benefit us until he gets his freedom.”
Kerman said: In case of the period is prolonged - and it has been already too long – another president should be chosen as an alternative,” pointing out that the same is applied to his government and the leaders of the Yemeni parties who are based in Riyadh.
Karman reminded Saudi Arabia of the detention of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri in a similar manner and forced him to resign from Riyadh.
