Karman congratulates Sudanese gov’t on signing the constitutional document
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman congratulated the Sudanese government for signing a "constitutional document" on Saturday to create a civilian and military transitional governing council and pave the way for elections of a civilian government.
"Congratulations to the great Sudan for this achievement. The Sudanese revolution is going to achieve its goals at a steady pace," Karman said on her official Facebook page.
"With the signing of the agreement, we are witnessing the birth of a new Sudan today," Karman said.
Karman considered that the greatest thing in the Sudanese revolution that it dropped the illusions of the capitals of counter-revolutions in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh that no revolution is coming up in the Arab world, as they have done everything to make the talk about revolutions from the past.
"Congratulations again to the great Sudan," Karman said.
